In 2001, the Festival now expanded to six stages. Artists included Sam Lay, Joanna Connor, Erwin Helfer and Katharine Davis, Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Ike Turner and the Kings of Rhythm, Jerry Ricks, Eddy Clearwater, Alberta Adams, Mel Waiters, Otis Rush, Wailin’ Walter & the Blues Screamers, The Holmes Brothers, Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham, C.J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band, Irma Thomas, and the Professionals.
